As you can probably guess from the name, the Taylor Legacy SL (Or Slimline), is a narrower profile bowl and is designed to fit and suit a smaller hand much more comfrtably than some of the standard size bowls in the Taylor range.
The Legacy Slimline also features a medium bias, giving the bowl a more comfortable swing to the jack. The Legacy SL provides a wider arc to the jack when compared against other Taylor bowls like the Ace and ofcourse the Lazer. The slimline fit of the bowl makes it a very popular choice with bowlers due to its easier grip and control.
With its slim line profile and Progrip as standard, the Legacy SL is a great option for those players who struggle to keep a firm grip on their bowls, or for those with smaller hands who otherwise struggle with grip.
Available in black as standard we have a selection of different emblem designs and ring colours available for the Legacy Slim Line bowl. The choice available is currently dependent on the size of bowl you prefer.
Progrip – What is it?
Progrip is the name given to the type of grip featured on the bowl. The Legacy SL bowls have this grip as standard, it’s a very popular grip and easily identified due to its dimple design. The somewhat unique circular-dimple design greatly improves the handling and grip of the bowl when playing in wet conditions. It can be very frustrating if you struggle to keep a firm grasp on your bowl during play and that’s where Progrip shines.
